We work to support, promote and raise the profile of Danish literature internationally, in part via our presence at international literary and cultural events, as well as via projects in Denmark and abroad.
OPEN CALL: GET READY FOR COPENHAGEN EDITORS’ FELLOWSHIP 2025
Calling all editors with an interest in Danish literature! Copenhagen Editors’ Fellowship is your chance to meet Danish publishers on their home turf and immerse yourself in Danish culture. You can now apply for a spot on this year’s Copenhagen Editors' Fellowship.
The fellowship is scheduled for 19st – 23nd August, and includes access to the international literature festival Louisiana Literature.
The deadline to apply is the 14th March 2025 – apply for a spot on this year’s Copenhagen Editors' Fellowship
Who is it for?
If you're an acquiring editor of translated fiction and keen to meet Danish publishers while experiencing Copenhagen at its finest, you can apply for a spot on this year’s Copenhagen Editors' Fellowship.
When?
Copenhagen Editors' Fellowship is scheduled for the end of August, and includes access to the international literature festival Louisiana Literature.
How to apply
You are able to apply for a spot on the Copenhagen Editors' Fellowship in February-March.

// OUR INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDES:
- Participating in various international book fairs and visiting publishing houses abroad to promote Danish literature in translation.
- Coordinating the literary aspect of official international Danish cultural projects.
- Organising fellowships and visitor programmes for international translators, publishers, festival leaders etc.
- Facilitating an ongoing conversation about Danish literature via social media and newsletters.
