Bora Bora
Bora Bora – Dance and Visual Theatre, located in Aarhus, Denmark, is a dynamic venue that showcases innovative dance and performing arts from both local and international artists. The organization plays a key role in the cultural landscape by hosting a range of festivals—local, national, and international—and serving as a production hub for the regional dance community in Aarhus. With a strong international focus, Bora Bora embraces the universality of dance, a form of artistic expression that transcends language barriers and thrives on cultural exchange and interaction.
Bora Bora operates across four main areas: it functions as a presenting venue, a production house, a residency center for artists, and a festival organizer, fostering both artistic creation and global collaboration.
Lotte Kofod Ludvigsen is the creative and executive director of Bora Bora. She holds a Master’s degree in dramaturgy and journalism from Aarhus University, supplemented by executive qualifications in leadership, project management, and process facilitation. As a former ISPA Fellow (2018-2020), Lotte brings over 20 years of experience in the performing arts, having worked as a producer, theatre critic, development consultant, and writer.
