Lara Vejrup Ostan
Lara Vejrup Ostan (1995) she/her, is a Slovenian/Danish choreographer and dancer and co-founder of KOMMA Performance Productions, a performing arts association based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In her choreographic works she challenges established perceptual frameworks, exploring how these are used to navigate reality. Notions of dayliness are central in her world building, embodiment work and choreographies. She constructs sensuous universes, which question dramaturgical traditions within storytelling and their corpo-socio-political implications. Other mediums, such as film and text, are used in her choreographic practice to mold and carry, or further develop logics of dancing.
